Dear Member,

The results of the ratification vote have been tallied.  We have confirmation that of the 89.2% of the membership that voted, 71.4% voted in favour of accepting the offer. 

The next steps will be to continue to diligently prepare for arbitration and conciliation with our legal team.  We will now secure the arbitrator, as well as some dates with the conciliator in our last attempt to come to a resolution on the following issues :

• Standby Rates of Pay
• Mileage Rates
• Resolving Non-Technical Issues from Home
• Working on a Corporation Holiday
• Northern Leave

Any of the unresolved issues will be brought to arbitration for a ruling in addition to the GWI’s for 2022 and 2023, where we intend to have an extensive and compelling presentation.
