Dear Member;

2021 is drawing to a close and many will remember it as a time of adversity and disappointment. But with the end of the year fast approaching we should not lose sight of the gains we have made during this year. Through the hard work and determination of our members, we achieved an improved collective agreement. Through the grievance process we were able to advance many members' concerns and to gain concessions from our employer. But perhaps most significant of all, we were able to protect each other from the COVID-19 virus through the most trying of times.

When I use the term "we", I mean the entire membership of Local 2034.  Any accomplishments that we've attained happened through the efforts and sacrifices of you the members.  As the new year approaches, we would do well to remember what we are capable of achieving and what a talented, professional and formidable group we can be.  2021 showed us that, and it gives us hope and confidence for continued success in 2022.

I personally want to thank each and every one of you for your contribution to our achievements. We know that we will face new trials and obstacles, but I have every confidence that we'll rise to whatever challenges face us.
