Dear Member;

We are pleased to share that the local 2034 will be sending out a mailout to all members in the next week containing Stickers/QR code links providing direct access to the latest printable version of the Collective Agreement.  This PDF format will ensure effortless navigation and searchability, facilitating easy access to specific topics or details for all members, regardless of their familiarity with the agreement.  This link will also serve as a central hub for all future updates to the Collective Agreement, ensuring ongoing accessibility and relevance.

In addition, each member also will receive a challenge coin enclosed within the correspondence, featuring a QR code linked directly to our website. This token of appreciation will serve to embody the rich history and traditions of our organization, detailed comprehensively within the mailing.

We anticipate the mailout to be delivered to our membership no later than July 25th, so if you have not received the letter by that date, please respond by email to Nichol admin@ibew2034.com after July 25th.

Other updates include:

• Happy belated Line Worker Appreciation Day (July 10th) to all our dedicated members and those who directly support our core business.

• IBEW is delighted to welcome Allan Danroth as the new CEO of Manitoba Hydro and to the province. Shortly after the announcement, I had the opportunity to meet with Allan. In our discussion, it became clear that he is deeply committed to safety and to cultivating constructive relationships with stakeholders. We eagerly anticipate a bright future filled with opportunities ahead!
