RE: IBEW 2022 Cash Draw
Greetings:
It’s back! Due to the overwhelming success of last year’s cash draw the IBEW First District International
Representatives are once again holding our annual draw, making the top prize $20,000.00 cash and two (2) cash
prizes of $5,000.00.
There are only 500 tickets that will be sold. Tickets are $100.00 each with a chance to win the $20,000.00 cash
and/or two (2) cash prizes of $5,000.00 each; an Early Bird draw for $5,000.00 will take place on Tuesday,
May 31, 2022 at the IBEW/MS Golf Tournament in Gormley, ON.
The draw for the $20,000.00 cash will take place as soon as all tickets are sold, or at the IBEW All Canada
Progress Meeting in Regina, Saskatchewan on Wednesday, August 17, 2022 (whichever comes first). The
second cash prize draw for $5,000.00 will take place at the IBEW All Canada Progress Meeting in Regina,
Saskatchewan on Wednesday, August 17, 2022. The $5,000.00 early bird cash prize winning ticket and
$20,000.00 grand prize ticket (if all tickets are not sold before Wednesday, August 17, 2022) will go back into
the draw and be eligible for the final prize draw for $5,000.00 cash.
All Local Unions that have sold tickets in the 2021 draw will be contacted directly. We will base your 2022
ticket allocation on last year’s sales. If you want more tickets or haven’t bought a ticket in the past and would
like one this year, just let us know! Contact your service representative or our office at IVPD_01@ibew.org.
An electronic copy of the poster in both official languages has been attached for your referral and distribution.
A reminder that you must be an IBEW First District member to purchase and win any prizes in this draw.
The proceeds from ticket sales are to assist in funding of the IBEW First District International Representatives
reception at the IBEW International Convention in 2026.
