Dear Member;

As of the time sending this member update, we unfortunately have not received the much anticipated results of the 2022 GWI from the arbitrator. We have received many inquiries over the last couple of days on this topic, and we can assure you, the results will be shared with the membership as soon as we receive the news.

Other updates include:

Women in the IBEW - Photo Contest - IBEW First District held a nation-wide photo contest centered around the theme of "Women in IBEW Canada”. The Ten (10) finalists were selected for final judging by a diverse panel of judges who evaluated the submissions based on creativity, relevance to the theme, and visual impact.  On behalf of IBEW 2034 congratulations go out to our very own Danielle Parachnocwitsch, who’s photo received 3rd place.

IBEW 2034 Graphics Design Contest - IBEW 2034 is reaching out to our members for creative design and art that could be utilized in whole or in part for for future embroidery or utilization for coin/pin or web design.  Members are encourage to submit their submissions titled “Graphics Design Contest”  to admin@ibew2034.com. Submission deadline is April 26, 2024.  The top 5 submissions will receive a gift!

IBEW 2034 Photo contest - IBEW 2034 is reaching out and looking for photos of our members at work and a variety of disciplines and locations across the province.   These photos may be utilized to update web design and banner for digital calendar.  Members are encourage to submit their submissions titled “Photo Contest” to admin@ibew2034.com. Submission deadline is April 26, 2024.  The top 5 submissions will receive a gift!
