Dear Member;

The 2024 -  IBEW 2034 Scholarships application deadline closed on March 29 2024. We are pleased to announce that we received a total of 38 submissions of which 20 will be receiving a $1000.00 scholarship.  The executive has put forth a motion to approve an additional 18 - $500 awards for the remaining candidates, that will be voted on at this upcoming month’s unit meetings.  We will announce all the winners by May 24th and recipients will be contacted shortly thereafter.

The IBEW Graphics Design and photo contest received submissions until April 26, 2024 and will be making selections for the top 5 submissions in each category at this months upcoming executive meeting. Winners to be contacted by the end of May.

We will be hosting the IBEW 2034 Picnic/Family day & Annual Lineworker’s Rodeo this year on Saturday June 1st, 2024 and the event will be open to all our competitors and the general public. The location for the event will be the Little Mountain Sportsplex  (64-128Klimpke Rd).   Big thanks to last years participants and sponsors who continue to make this an enjoyable event.

• Powerline apprentices level “C” and above
• Powerline Journeyperson teams (Teams of 3)
• Individual Powerline Journeypersons who are seeking to be placed on a team?
• Judges
